The 111 service is available 24/7 and can provide advice, arrange appointments with an out-of-hours GP, or direct you to the nearest appropriate healthcare service based on your needs.

Testicular Cancer – Check Yourself

Cancer of the testicle is one of the less common cancers and tends to mostly affect men between 15 and 49 years of age.

You’re about to discover the single most important fact about testicular cancer that you (probably) didn’t know. This fact is good news. You see, in the battle of man vs cancer, we’re all a lot stronger than we might think.

The one stat you should take on board, and never lose sight of, is this:

Typical symptoms are a painless swelling or lump in one of the testicles, or any change in shape or texture of the testicles.

It’s important to be aware of what feels normal for you. Get to know your body and see your GP if you notice any changes.
